Glasgow Male Prostitution Network

The Male Prostitution Network is a partnership of agencies and professionals who meet quarterly to promote the health and safety of men involved in prostitution. The Network also acts as a practitioners’ forum, allowing the sharing of best practice between agencies.

We recognise that men involved in prostitution are not a discrete population and will already be service users of sexual health, mental health, addiction, homelessness and criminal justice services etc. Given this range of experiences, partnership working between agencies allows a greater impact and the ability to reach and deliver beyond the abilities of any one partner. The Male Prostitution Network allows for a co-ordinated approach underpinned by relevant strategies and policies, existing and new.

For more information about the Male Prostitution Network, please see the attached Terms of Reference paper. If your agency is interested in joining the Network, please contact the Chair, Julian Heng, for an informal discussion on 0141 420 7284 or email: advice@nhsopenroad.org.
